Fin and Tail Rot Bacterial Infection

Symptoms

White patches resembling dots appear on skin and fins of the endler appear eaten off with split and fraying. The disease will progress until fins and tail are completely eroded and fish dies from secondary infections. Infected fish stops eating, or mouthing food then spits it out. Directly related to water quality, bacterial infections spread exponentially if left unchecked. Death usually results from secondary infections of weakened fish.
